On a cloudy day

Draped in the cape of cloud,
I see the sky breathing soothingly
A raven floats in and out of it
A lady watches it too from her own cage
The next-door-guy dreams of her
Dreams of flying away someday
From the prison where she is withheld
A man walks by the house where the 'guy' lives
He seems in a hurry cause he is late for work
A housemaid passes him on the way
Her son had died last week, she remembers him
She works for the lady-in-cage
The raven still swims in the ocean high above
I still idly trace its path
The man still paces fast
The housemaid still walks on
The lady-in-cage still lives
And,
The sky still remains blue.
