a Promise made

If you wish to give me a gift
Walk with me for a few moments
The salient smile lingering your lips
Speaks the words of your silent eyes.
I shall lilt my frilly voice all for you
And try to match your curvy steps
On the tipsy road, If I trip a bit don't judge
Please hold me tight, never leaving again.
I wish to dive into your starry eyes too
Never to blink for a breathe hence forth
Trust me my love, its's not trash talk
My verity lies in my candid self
My heart still beats only your name
That's the promise I made years back.
Just take a walk without words
And let the moments mix their monologues.
I shall wait for your pledging nod
As Summers shall soak my sullen skin
Walking alone amidst the drenching rains, I wait
Till you paint me with your crimson lips.
The space between us lingers doubt
That shall never dissolve with the fading time
Till you hold my hands with honest trusts
Taking vows for life under the splendid Sun.
