Fallacy of Dreams

One too many, one too less
The churn was never too hot
The child ate the half-burnt bread
As the family starved along
The lady flaunts the fancy jewels
Displaying a carnage of youth
Orphans die in beggar's laps
As the Porsche wiggles 'swoosh'
The army man toddles a dusky path
Whistling the tune of long lost peace
A toddler twitches the word border
And trespasses into the 'others' terrain
Things happen, people die, skeptics say
Children are born, society lives forever
Lying to us with a fallacy of dreams
To ponder, live and retrieve daily
Amiss this chaos a bird just flies
Echoing the bliss of a free man's life
It just thinks over and over again.
All shall die, all must End in the end.
