What a movie. What a movie.
It's a story about four individuals of Punjab and it revolves around drug.
How drug is slowly destroying youth and how the society has become an integral part of drug abuse, inhumanity and illegality has been featured in a brutally honest manner by Abhishek Chaubey.

Alia Bhatt was probably the most significant character in a mesmerising plot. There is no real protagonist, yet I discovered the actors like Shahid Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor shining in their own story line.
Diljit played the role of Mr.Good boy and Shahid was Mr. Fuddu (just kidding). Kareena is a doctor trying to reform the society. There is a sweet, crunch, softness of the characters that I don't want to spoil for anyone.
It's a beautiful and yet real story about human lives. Just watch it.
Acting - 4.5 /5
I deduct 0.5 because Diljit looked a little soft as a cop at times and over acted a little in one sequence while romancing with Kareena.
All the other actors whether the con-men or the tertiary actors had delivered to their utmost.

Direction - 4/5
Abhishek soften a serious script with a shoddy romantic theme when I wasn't expecting so, I am compelled to cut off 1 from the overall awesome direction.
Cinematography- 4/5
The reality and sequences has been drafted very efficiently. Just watch it guys.
Music - 4/5
Well. Ikk Kudi is very beautifully sung. I loved the semi-clasical tone of the song. And the remaining tracks are good too based on the theme of the sequences.
Overall I think its one of the best movies of this year, I have seen till date.
Udta Punjab.
